Gulf Excavating has been providing professional excavation services in the Southern Gulf Islands since 1976, with decades of hands-on experience in site preparation, road construction, land clearing, trenching, and foundation excavation. Our family’s history of working the land on Pender Island dates back generations, giving us unmatched local knowledge of soil conditions, bedrock, drainage, and coastal terrain.

We played a key role in the development of Magic Lake Estates in the 1970s, contributing to one of Pender Island’s most significant early subdivisions. More recently, Gulf Excavating was instrumental in the construction of the new road at The Dip on South Pender Island, supplying the concrete, supporting the excavation work, and participating in the planning and implementation of this critical infrastructure project.
